According to boredpanda, the Animal Cruelty Segment was contacted in November about what appeared to be a dead dog lying in a dirty crate in Austin, Texas.
Police arrived to find a dog covered in feces, gravely malnourished, and totally left to starve.
Close examination revealed that the doggie’s bone had moved…
« We actually realized [the dog] was alive, but just hardly, so we hustled her to the Austin Animal Core, where vets immediately began immediate care, » Officer Wagner explained to The Huffington Post.
« Her temperature was too low to sign up on a thermometer, and she was barely moving. » We didn’t believe that she was going to make it. »
However, an angel named Elizabeth, a veterinary nurse, hustled to assist. She spent the next few hours rescuing the pooch’s existence.
The veterinarian also gave her a hot bath and utilized a blow dryer softly to help raise the pup’s body temp.
« During those initial hours, all I did was chatting to her and tell her she was adored, » she explains.
Sophie, she named the doggie, and she noticed she wanted to take in this courageous little hero.
The doggie has recovered completely and is idolized by her new family. « She’ll never go hungry again, and she’ll never be sick again, » She declares.
